Brent Everett The Twins Free

You can say 'tolerance'?

begin by saying my lack of sympathy for the term 'tolerance'. Apart from the fact that it makes me think of the brothels (but this is just more than a joke), 'tolerance' says the superiority of those who expressed a negative opinion, and is not a good start for dialogue.

It tolerates evil, not a different thought with which they will confront. Arrogant 'tolerance' rather humble the term of 'listening': this is a precondition for the comparison.

Tolerance does not represent "all the world", but only one of the world: those who, from positions of superiority tolerate those who are lower and, barely and with difficulty, if - in fact, permissible.
said, impresses me the dialectic (another term that could replace 'tolerance') between reason and faith, church and state, religious and secular, and so on. It impresses me, "the plural essential," which helps to design a unit that is secure and not monolithic, but divided and moved.
In the Christian faith, but not limited to, pluralism has its foundation in the very mystery of God's absolute
Between polytheism, which seems to give more account of the multiplicity of conflicts and existential, and monolithic monotheism, of a Muslim, in which the plural category is absent, the Trinitarian God is a stitch and synthesis.
in the Triune God (or, as qualcuno dice, unitrino) il plurale è veramente indispensabile.
This desire of God brings with it a way of being and of thinking that created the unit, to become fruitful, must include the "plural essential" that is the goal and the theme here is to discuss.
"Plural essential" means that without plurality immanent and dialectical tension, also created reality - even, as it were, the world below - is dead and sterile, no motion, no fertility, remains locked in itself, without dialogue, perhaps it is only tolerant in the negative sense that I have indicated.
